Anthem Names Greg Poulakos President of Anthem Life & Disability Business
INDIANAPOLIS --(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 2017-- Anthem, Inc. (NYSE: ANTM) has announced Greg Poulakos has been appointed President of Anthem’s Life and Disability Business, effective November 13, 2017 .
“Greg is a widely respected leader with deep experience in the group benefits insurance market and a track record of success throughout his career,” said Nicholas L. Brecker , President, Anthem’s Specialty Business. “We are confident that Greg brings the right set of skills to drive strong performance and deliver an outstanding customer value.”
Most recently, Poulakos served as Vice President of underwriting at Lincoln Financial, one of the leading life and disability companies in the United States . Poulakos also served as Senior Vice President and led UnitedHealthcare’s life, disability and voluntary business. Prior to these roles, he held leadership positions with The Hartford’s group benefits and reinsurance businesses.
