Elevance Health Launches Care Provider Recognition Program Celebrating Top Healthcare Providers

Indianapolis, Ind. – October 28, 2024 – Elevance Health Inc. (NYSE: ELV), in partnership with its affiliated health plans, today unveiled the company’s inaugural Care Provider Recognition Program. The initiative is designed to acknowledge and celebrate high-performing healthcare providers nationwide who demonstrate excellence in patient care.

The program selects recipients who exhibit a commitment to continual learning and excellence in critical health areas for Elevance Health’s affiliated Medicare Advantage health plan members. Care providers are evaluated based on key metrics that include preventive care screenings, immunization rates, management of chronic diseases, and medication adherence. Elevance Health and its affiliated plans will select the top five percent of providers as award winners, based on these metrics. The new recognition program is part of the company’s commitment to collaboration and active partnership with care providers to create a positive impact on the health of plan members.
